I'm looking for a place to camp within 2 or 3 hours of San Francisco that I don't need to wear clothes at. Beach, woods, whatever. Any recommendations.

Re: Nude camping
Sat, May 20, 2006 - 2:03 AMI believe several of the campgrounds along the coast trail in Point Reyes like Wildcat, Coast Camp and Sculptured Beach get a lot of clothing optional use. The beaches certainly do, and the campgrounds, which are accessable to backpackers tend to attract a hippyish crowd.
Hope this helps.

Mon, June 19, 2006 - 12:41 PMDear Elliotte,
One of the places I'd recommentd is Red White & Blue Beach, www.redwhiteandbluebeach.com/
It is about 4 miles north of Santa Cruz, a private nude beach and an anormous campground with areas from open, to in the jungle. The camping fee is $21 per person and is from 3pm to 6pm the following day.
