Since I recently relocated to Southeastern Idaho(Pocatello) I've discovered Idaho's abundant "Hot Springs".
The Scenery here is beautiful and these Hot Springs have been here forever. Some are accessible by a short well worn footpath, those are the "Family Oriented" Hot Springs and the ones requiring bathing attire and they can get quite crowded. Others are up on the sides of nearby Mountains and are remote enough to be "Clothing Optional". These Hot Springs are accessed by Trails, some of wich are 2 miles or more and too difficult a hike for families with Children.
We are on the cusp of our "Summer" here,I will write more on these Hot Springs as I visit them.
Does anyone else have any input about Idaho's Hot Springs? If so I'd love to hear about them.

Re: Hot Springs In Idaho
Thu, April 10, 2008 - 3:49 PMWe go to a really good one here. It is called Skinny Dipper Hot Springs. There is a steep hike up and it has 3 pools once you are there. I love it up there.

Sun, May 18, 2008 - 9:54 AMI frequently go to Lava Hot Springs. I love the area and am never disappointed by the water. However, I'm interested in the "Family Oriented" hot springs you write of. I also live in Pocatello. Could you give me a little information on these? -

Thu, May 29, 2008 - 9:48 AMI recently met someone whose favorite hot spring is Boat Box hot springs on the Salmon river. He said there are also good hot springs near the town of Salmon in Idaho.
